FAQHere are a few of our more common questions:What do you need to do as a contributor? Nothing. Vcomix was created to help out contributors because making and running a comic is difficult as it is, not make more work for them. The only thing Vcomix asks from its contributors is information and images to promote your comic with. While there are ways to support Vcomix as well, it's far from required. What kind of comics do you accept? Vcomix doesn't discriminate against comics of any genre, style, format, rating, etc. The more variety of comics we have, the better! Why only girls/solo-artists? Almost all of the better-known comics on the web are done by guys. Vcomix wants to get out there that there are comics done by girls that are serious about this (not just something we all do in middle school during classes). Solo-artists, because it's hard enough to make a comic on your own. There are lots of webrings/etc that promote comics done by multiple people, and it's harder to do things like make fonts or figure out how to get printed when you're so busy working on your pages endlessly. Is there a skill level/standard requirement? Yes, and no. All artists could use some improvement in some way; Vcomix hopes to encourage this by encouraging artists with their comics. We feel the more support you have (in both encouragement and in constructive criticism) you'll improve all the better. But while the "skill level" of the art itself isn't really a concern to me, we obviously won't accept comics that look half-assed. That sort of goes against our whole point. What ARE you looking for? We're looking for passionate artists that really have faith in what they create. If you draw your comic not because it's "cool", not because you want to show off how "great an artists you are", but because with or without the internet, you'd be drawing it because you just HAVE to get this out of your head and on to paper.... THAT'S what we're looking for.
